ENTERTAINMENT & THERAPY

In support of North Wales' care residents and NHS workers

GO LIVE are a band of musicians and music therapists, profoundly moved by the pandemic's devastation. We champion the kings and queens of our hearts working in the NHS and give the wings of love to angels isolated in residential and nursing homes and hospices, with songs, dancing and fun bringing families and communities from within the footprint of the Betsi Cadwaladr Health Board together to help Covid 19 Heroes, and Victims GET OVER BEING UNDER LOCKDOWN.

COVID VICTIMS

Studies have shown that Covid has a detrimental and lasting impact on many shielded persons lives and health, which can worsen without appropiate psycological and emotional support and human contact.

You can help reduce the solitude, heartbreak, and long-term damage caused by isolation imposed on clinically extremely vulnerable people shielding them from the severe dangers of the Covid 19 coronavirus.

COVID HEROES

Research has revealed that working during the outbreak has had severely adverse consequences for the day-to-day mental, emotional and physical needs, and welfare and well-being of NHS workers living and working in Wales.

From Doctors and Nurses to cleaners and porters, we support NHS staff, uniting together in backing them to continue to put 100% into their battle to keep us healthy and safe during the pandemic, and be happier both at home and work.

THERE'S NO 'I' IN THEIR TEAM

AND THERE'S NONE IN OURS FOR THEM

Covid 19 has taken a toll on frontline health workers with distressing consequences, including cases of sickness, depression and PTSD. Many victims' health has seriously declined under lockdown. Separation from family and deprival of stimulation worsens these problems. Both sets of issues demand an urgent response immediately Covid 19 restrictions permit, and GO LIVE will be the first to address them.

Recreation and adjunctive therapies budgets have never been under more significant threat than they are due to the unprecedented financial demands of Covid 19. These have never meant more to Covid Heroes and Victims than now, and we aim to substitute for any reduction to these vital services. The NHS desperately needs strength to persevere and the unwell support in healing the pain caused by separation.

PUT HEART IN YOUR FEED

Together we can support the vaccine rollout by driving the mental and emotional consequences of Covid 19 back with the virus.
